60 lb machines
A comforter needs room to move. Forced into a home washer it comes out with detergent still in the filling and damp patches in the middle, and it stays damp long enough to smell. Our largest washers take 60 lb loads, so bedding tumbles freely, washes evenly and dries all the way through — then comes back folded and bagged, ready for the cupboard.

Including heavier winter quilts that won’t fit a home drum.
Washed and dried through, not just surface-cleaned.
Wool, fleece and cotton — tell us if anything needs a cool wash.
Cleaned and dried properly so the filling doesn’t clump.
Washed separately from everything else. Just say so at drop-off.
Staffed 8 AM to 8 PM at 1028 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204. The laundromat itself is open 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM, seven days.
