The short version: we collect what we need to wash your laundry and get it back to you, we don’t sell it to anyone, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The long version is below.
TLC Laundry is a family-owned laundromat at 1028 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204. This policy covers this website, tlclaundromat.com, and the wash-dry-fold and pickup-and-delivery service we run from the store.

When you book a pickup or a wash-dry-fold order. Your name, address, phone number, email address and the details of the order. We need these to collect your laundry, tell you what it weighed, and bring it back to the right door. Bookings and orders run through CleanCloud, the booking and point-of-sale system we use.
When you pay by card. Card details go straight to the payment processor behind CleanCloud or behind the machines in the store. We never see or store your full card number.
When you use the contact form. Your name, email address, the phone number if you give one, and your message. It’s emailed to us and we reply to it — that’s all it is used for.
When you call or text. Your phone number and whatever you tell us. Texts are the quickest way to reach us, and we keep the thread so we can pick up where we left off.
Automatically, when you visit the site. Our web host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, which pages were requested and when. They exist to keep the site up and to spot attacks, not to build a profile of you.
We don’t sell, rent or trade your details. Not to data brokers, not to marketing lists, not to anyone.
We don’t run advertising trackers or analytics profiling on this site. There is no Facebook pixel and no Google Analytics on it.
We don’t text or email you marketing you didn’t ask for. If we message you, it’s about your order.
There are no comments, no accounts and no user registration on this site, so there is nothing of that kind to collect.
This site sets no tracking cookies of its own.
Two things on it come from somewhere else and can set their own cookies: the Google map embedded on the home page, and the CleanCloud booking form on the Book Now page. Once you interact with either, you’re also covered by the privacy policy of that company — Google’s is here and CleanCloud’s is here.
Only the companies we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:
CleanCloud — bookings, orders and payments. Our web host — the servers this site runs on. Our email provider — delivering contact-form messages to us. Google — only if you use the embedded map. Sucuri — security monitoring for the site.
We’ll also hand over information if the law actually requires it — a court order, for example. That has never happened.
Order and customer records: for as long as you are a customer, and after that for as long as we need them for accounting and tax records.
Contact-form emails and text threads: until they are no longer useful for answering you.
Server logs: a short rolling window, then they are overwritten.
If you ask us to delete you sooner, we will, unless we are legally required to keep a record of a transaction.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just ask — we don’t make you fill in a form for it.
To stop text messages from us, reply STOP, or tell us and we’ll take you off.

Our service isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we’ll delete them.
The whole site runs over HTTPS. Access to order records is limited to the people who work here and need them. The site is monitored for malware and unauthorised changes.
No system is perfect. If something ever went wrong in a way that affected your information, we’d tell you.
If this policy changes, we’ll change the date at the top of it. This version is dated 8 September 2026.
